Fellows
Fellowship of the Calligraphy & Lettering Arts Society (CLAS) is the highest recognition in the CLAS Ladder of Progress and one of the most respected achievements in the field of calligraphy and lettering arts in the UK.
Successful applicants are awarded the right to use the post-nominal letters FCLAS, a mark of excellence that reflects exceptional skill, dedication, and contribution to the craft. While a high pass at the Advanced Level of the CLAS National Diploma of Calligraphy is the usual route, it is not a strict requirement for application.
Becoming a CLAS Fellow is both a personal honour and a way of inspiring others, supporting CLAS’s mission to promote and advance the art of calligraphy and lettering.
