It indicates a good standard of calligraphic competence and teaching ability as well as an appreciation of the necessary planning and evaluation of the teaching and learning process. Students taught by CLAS Accredited Tutors are assured of both calligraphic and teaching standards. Calligraphy teachers are encouraged to consider this increasingly important qualification. The National Diploma at Intermediate level is the standard of calligraphic achievement, City and Guilds 7306/7307 FE/AE Teachers' Certificate, and a 3,000-word study form the requirements for submission. The qualification can be submitted to assessors at any time, and CLAS has established qualified mentors to support candidates. | |||||||
