Cherrell Avery

Cherrell holds a BA Hons degree in calligraphy and was elected Associate (Fellow) of CLAS in 1999. She runs a freelance business in North London. Major clients have included Marks & Spencer, Middlesex University, Selfridges and The London Assembly. An accredited CLAS tutor, Cherrell teaches in adult education, runs workshops around the country and in London Museums. She also specializes in remedial handwriting tuition. Her personal work, which explores surfaces and textures, is regularly exhibited in the UK and abroad.
